Eligibility Criteria:
MSc in Analytical Chemistry with experience in the R&D function
Experience:
Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in an Analytical Chemistry lab
Responsibilities
Essential Function 1: Analytics Project Execution
Interface with all stakeholders to meet the objectives and deadlines
Carry out operational tasks, work breakdown elements and monitor project progress
Ensure hand-over of work results into receiving unit according to project agreements.
Essential Function 2: Analytical Chemistry Competencies
Knowledgeable with various analytical techniques and data interpretation
Ability to develop new test methods to support multi-step organic chemistry reactions
Ability to solve production issues and customer complaints using analytical tools
Essential Function 3: Laboratory Practices
- Adhere to lab safety guidelines and good laboratory practice
- Maintain all laboratory equipment in working condition and ensure timely calibration schedules
- Interface with OEMs and vendors for spares and ensure no stock out of critical items
- Prepare for QESH audits and ensure no deviations
Essential Function 4: Knowledge Management
Documentation of results for knowledge sharing, retrieving and prevention of double work
Capture best practices for ensuring repeatability and reproducibility of test results
