National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Hyderabad (Established in the year 2007 is a prestigious educational institution of national importance under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, to provide leadership in Pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas.

NIPER Hyderabad invites eligible and interested candidates for a walk-in/online interview for the position of 01 Research Scientist (Unreserved) purely on a contract basis as given below.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for the walk-in interview.

Note 

1. This position is purely temporary and contractual and is not against any post. The selected candidate shall have no claim for regularization against any regular post.

Salary – 54000/- per month consolidated (as per DST norms)

Essential Qualifications –

• Ph.D. / M. Tech. in Biomedical Engineering/ Bioengineering/ Biotechnology/ Medical devices/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Computer Science
• Or B. Tech. (with 3 years of experience) in Biomedical Engineering/ Bioengineering/ Biotechnology/ Medical devices/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Computer Science or
• Or M. Sc. in Physics/ Electronics (with 1 year of relevant experience) with an excellent academic record.
• Must have experience in computer coding (C and/or C++ and/or Python)

Desirable Qualifications –

• Experience in Teaching or Research or relevant Industries.
• Experience or hands-on experiences in electronics (circuit electronics laboratory), familiar with artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms/ tools.
• Knowledge of imaging, and image processing (using MATLAB)
• Having publications in international journals would be preferred.

For exceptional candidates, the essential and desirable criteria may be relaxed. Salary is negotiable for deserving candidates.
